Digital Image: Great Nebula in Orion

It’s amazing sometimes what detail can be captured in bright Deep Sky Objects. Here is the Great Nebula in Orion, up close and personal through the KPO 18″ Reflector. While I was watching the images collecting the other night, I noticed a wolf like shape on the right that is formed by the foreground part of the nebula. Do you see it?

Canon 60D at the prime focus of the KPO 18″ Reflector. 22¬†x 120 second exposures for a total integration time of 44¬†minutes. Captured and stacked in Nebulosity, processed in StarTools, and finished in Aperture.
